last Australian days in good company

10/24-30/09 Already the last week in Australia was here, wow, 2.5 months went fast (time also flies when you travel) and I went to see my friend Kirsten and her family. We used to write letters to each other back in the days before the whole e-mail thing started.
I spent very relaxing and refreshing days at their cool house in Hastings, south of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula. We went to the Sunday market, to Marysville (where they had those disastrous fires back in February) and I strolled around Hastings downtown, took the train up to Melbourne, hang out and enjoyed seeing Kirsten again, meeting her husband and playing with their two kids. I had a great time – thanks for the hospitality and making my last Australian days good ones!
And with that, the Australian chapter will be closed! To sum it all up, OZ was awesome!!!
